Goalden Girl 2024-25: Beth Roberts of Henllan is a record-breaker!

Record-setter Beth Roberts of CPDM Henllan ended an unbelievable debut season in senior football with her 53rd goal of the campaign on Saturday.
The 16-year-old passed the previous highest total since Grassroots North Wales started keeping stats in 2016-17 of 52 netted by Llangefni Town’s Jess Jones last season.
Former Wrexham striker Lowri Edwards scored 65 goals in 32 appearances back in 2011-12, but it is believed Beth’s total is the highest since then.by a North Wales senior player.
Beth has rattled up nine hat-tricks this term including nine goals in one game, two sixes and a seven.
She is the only footballer, male or female, to reach 50 goals in North Wales senior football this season so far.
Sunday also saw Kinmel Bay’s Amy Chesters move up to third place in the Goalden Girl 2024-25 chart with her 26th goal in an 8-0 victory over Llanystumdwy.
Also in great form was Kinmel Bay’s Seren Williams, whose quartet against Llan boosted her tally to 18 – her best ever in a single season.
And Jess Woods of Trearddur Bay was a hat-trick scorer in her final game of the season, meaning she has hit 16 in her first campaign with the club.
Flying up the charts in the closing weeks of 2024-25 have been Lexi Walsh of Kinmel Bay and Pwllheli’s Charley Davies. Both scored twice at the weekend.
