Cynghrair Pêl-rwyd Hogan Gwynedd a Môn Netball League: Mavericks beaten but still 11 points clear

An exciting night of netball on Wednesday was capped by the talented young Rebals TC side beating Division One leaders Menai Mavericks 21-19 in a thriller.
Rebals led 6-4, 11-8 and 17-12 at the end of quarters one, two and three, but Menai fought back strongly to take the last 7-4. Nonetheless, the Rebals had done enough to claim the victory.
Steff Oliver-Smith stood out for Mavericks, while Wales international Efa Dwyfor-Clarke and Non Jones were excellent for Rebals.
Penygroes Primos edged out a narrow 19-18 verdict over Pwllheli Panthers.
Panthers led all the way, holding a 14-12 advantage going into the final segment, but Primos closed the show in style, winning the last session 7-4 to take the match.
Tim o Walis impressively saw off Celts Bach 33-20, winning the final quarter by a wide 13-4 margin.
Celts actually won the second and third, but that big finish from the Walis sealed the deal.

Bethesda must have been overjoyed with their first win of the season, beating Fflamau TC 23-16.
After 15 straight losses, Pesda finally felt that winning feeling, setting up a decisive lead by taking the first three quarters.
Sioned Sturrs and Georgia Edwards starred for Bethesda, while Elin Hughes really performed well for Fflamau.
In Division Two, Pwllheli Pumas closed the gap on leaders Genod Walis to four points with a 26-20 success over Walis Midffield.
Pumas were always in front, but Midffild remained competitive throughout in a good contest.
Thunderjags came out on top against Blaenau Ffestiniog by 22 goals to 17.
Ela Evans shone brightly for the winning team, Mel Roberts and Keira Hoosan in good form for Blaenau.
Porthmadog Dyffryn Ladies powered home against Bethesda Bach 29-16.
It was just 12-11 to Port at half time, but they dominated the third 12-1 to establish command.
Lowri Thomas and Non Jones were Port’s biggest eye-catchers, Hallie Jones outstanding for Bethesda.
Llewod Llyfni trailed 5-3 after the opener to Walis Wariars, but after that Llyfni took control and ran out 23-15 victors.
