Caernarfon Town 2 (Mooney 52, Lloyd 68)
Cardiff Met University 1 (Roscrow 33)

A fantastic day for Caernarfon saw them not only equal their best-ever fourth-place finish in the Cymru Premier, but also match-winner Louis Lloyd secured a share of the league’s golden boot with his 16th goal of the season.
Richard Davies’ side will now host Barry Town United in the quarter-finals of the play-offs which offer a route into European competition.
Cardiff Met, who had won 2-1 at The Oval in phase one back in August, were unable to make it an away double against opponents which defeated them 2-0 in last season’s play-off semi-finals.
The students drew first blood in the 33rd minute when a Ryan Reynolds corner from the right led to a CJ Craven shot which Ben Hughes kept out well, but Adam Roscrow was on hand to score from the rebound.
Met led 1-0 at half time, but the Cofis turned the game around in the second period.
Both goals had much to do with tremendous centre-forward play from Adam Davies.
In the 52nd minute a cross from the right was controlled and volleyed goalwards magnificently by Davies, whose strike was brilliantly saved by Kelland Absalom. but Phillip Mooney was first to pounce and find the net.
On 68 minutes, Davies showed marvellous strength and skill to leave two Met defenders flailing and he calmly side-footed the ball into the six-yard box when Lloyd slotted into an empty net.

This was league goal number 16 for Lloyd, who shares the Cymru Premier’s top-scorer crown with James Crole of Penybont.
Lloyd is the first Caernarfon Town player ever to win, or earn a share of, the Cymru Premier Golden Boot.
This team never stops reaching new heights.
