Champions Connah’s Quay Nomads will meet Pontypridd United for the right to play in the Adran Premier next season.
Adran North title winners Nomads and newly-crowned Adran South table-toppers Pontypridd will clash in the promotion play-off final on Sunday, April 20 (details to be confirmed).
For Jordan Parry’s Connah’s Quay, the dream is to join fellow North Walians Wrexham AFC Women in the top flight next season.
Nomads completed a perfect season in Adran North at the weekend when they made it 14 wins in 14 matches with a 3-1 home triumph over CPDM Y Felinheli.
The hosts missed some glorious opportunities in the opening stages, but found the breakthrough in the 22nd minute thanks to Natasha Spearing, who fired home the rebound from Ella Jones’ saved effort.
Nomads then took firm control of the game with two goals in the space of a minute shortly before half-time, Aimee Redfern heading in from Phoebe Ellis’ corner before Jones netted from close range for her 25th goal of the season.
Fflur Williams produced a looping half-volley to get Felinheli on the scoresheet in first half stoppage time, but a goalless second stanza ensured Nomads made it a spotless set of results.
Wrexham won the Adran North crown with a 100% record in 2022-23, but they did it over 12 matches, so Nomads have improved on that feat with 14 straight victories.
These teams would end up the top two in Adran North, but on this day Nomads were far superior.
The deadlock remained unbroken until the 42nd minute when Phoebe Ellis made it 1-0 to the Deesiders.
Anais Bathily doubled the advantage early in the second half, then Melanie Barlow added a third on 79 minutes.
Enter Captain Fantastic Polly Wild-McGregor. The 19-year-old scored a six-minute hat-trick, including one from a rebound after her penalty was saved.
Nomads’ chance of a 100% record could have been scuppered very early in the campaign.
In just their second game, the Deesiders were being held 0-0 at Felinheli until Phoebe Ellis knocked in the winner a minute into added time.
Three goals in the first 16 minutes from Phoebe Ellis, Polly Wild-McGregor and new signing from Llandudno, Ella Jones, put Nomads in charge at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium.
Aimee Redfern added a fourth for extra security late in the second half.
Nomads came oh-so-close to losing their perfect record, but the inspirational Aimee Redfern came to the rescue with an exquisite chipped deciding goal FIVE minutes into added time.
League newcomers Flint gave the hosts all they could handle, taking the lead through Ruby Hastings.
Late first half goals from Polly Wild-McGregor and Ella Jones handed Quay an interval lead, but Rosie Hughes levelled on 59 minutes and it needed that last-gasp decider from Redfern to settle the argument.
After this game, the Nomads proved pretty untouchable.
The battle between the reigning champions and title-winners-to-be went Nomads’ way.
Tudno stormed into a two-goal lead courtesy of Rebecca Jarvis-Evans and Erin Doran, but from here the entire season turned very much towards the all-reds.
Ella Jones and Polly Wild Mc-Gregor made it 2-2 at half time and the same pairing added another goal apiece after the break before Anais Bathily pocketed a fifth.
Polly Wild-McGregor notched her second league hat-trick of the season before Anais Bathily scooped a fourth in a comfortable home victory.
The season has not just been about the Wild-McGregor and Ella Jones goalscoring heroics – many other players have contributed too, reflecting manager Jordan Parry’s outstanding squad strength in depth.
On this afternoon at NFA, Alisha Whitehead-Jones (2), Elana Harley (2) and Natasha Spearing netted their first league goals of the campaign, while Phoebe Ellis bagged her fourth.
Flint gave Nomads another good test, but unlike in their earlier meeting, the Deesiders were more comfortable winners this time.
Polly Wild-McGregor struck twice in the first half and Phoebe Ellis put away a third soon after the turnaround.
This was what you would call a statement victory.
The champions-to-be proved far too dynamic for the 2023-24 title-lifters.
Another hat-trick for the on-fire Wild-McGregor, a second double of the season for Ella Jones against her former club, plus singles by Elana Harley and Evie Chard made it nine wins on the bounce for the runaway leaders.
By now the Nomads were completely unstoppable.
Again the table-toppers proved in this one they are very much a squad – not just a team – as some new stars emerged on the scoresheet.
Teenager Poppy Kendrick-Jones delivered a double, as did Wild-McGregor, with Ella Jones, Anna Marsh and Sophie Hodson also on the mark.
A fourth league hat-trick of the campaign took skipper Wild-McGregor up to 20 goals in the Adran North.
Mel Barlow and an own goal completed the scoring.
The title was secured in some style as Nomads made it 12 straight wins with a 12-0 victory.
Quality signing Anna Marsh proved her worth with a treble, sub Keira Hardstaff and Poppy Kendrick-Jones both bagged braces and there was one each for Wild-McGregor, Ella Jones, Natasha Spearing and Evie Chard.
All hail the champions!
The title was in the bag but Nomads were desperately keen to maintain their perfect slate.
Runners-up Llanfair put on a good show, but the champions proved again they go for the full 90 as the in-form Anna Marsh knocked in an 82nd minute decider.
And the full house is called – 14-0 to the Nomads! Bingo!
Jordan Parry’s side exerted a little bit of revenge in beating a Felinheli outfit which ended their three-season grip on the NEWFA Challenge Cup in February.
Natasha Spearing, Aimee Redfern and Ella Jones all found the net in another winning performance.
Felinheli very sportingly clapped the title-winners onto the field, forming a guard of honour.
