Bethesda moved four points clear at the Premier summit after seeing off the challenge of Llanystumdwy with a three-goal victory at Treborth on Tuesday night.
The Meurig Park club broke the deadlock after 13 minutes when Joe Todd was denied by Iwan Emlyn in the Llanystymdwy goal before Kyle Hartleb was on hand to turn home the loose ball.
Bethesda had to wait until 10 minutes after the interval to extend their lead when Emlyn made a brave save to deny Todd from close-range but captain Osian Hughes swept home the loose ball.
Pesda secured all three points with four minutes remaining on the clock when Osian Hughes was played through on goal and maintained his composure to slide the ball past Emlyn.
Athletic now find themselves four points clear of nearest rivals Cemaes Bay but having played three fewer matches.
