Newly-named Ogwen Tigers FC will probably get a bigger crowd than they bargained for on the opening weekend of the season.
That’s because the former Mynydd Tigers will be the first Gwynedd League opponents for new club Bangor 1876 on Saturday, August 10.
The match, which will take place at Bethesda Rugby Club, will involve only a short trip for the Bangor fans, who turned out en masse at last weekend’s first-ever friendly at FC United of Manchester.
Other August 10 fixtures (2.30pm kick-off)
Bro Goronwy v Llanystumdwy, Glantraeth v Bryngwran Bulls, Llangoed v Caergybi, Menai Bridge Tigers v Waunfawr, Nefyn United v Bethesda Athletic.
