Wednesday reports: Top three in North Wales Coast West Premier all played – how did they fare?

Osian Hughes was on target for Bethesda

WEDNESDAY REPORTS – MARCH 26

NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE

Premier Division

Cemaes Bay 1 Bethesda Athletic 1

Although Bethesda had enough chances to win Tuesday’s night top of the table clash at School Lane comfortably, they will have been satisfied to take a point off the leaders.

After a blank first half, captain Osian Hughes edged Pesda in front on 57 minutes with his 21st goal of the season, Joe Todd supplying the assist.

However, Osian Jones levelled after 76 and 1-1 is how it stayed.

Huw Shaw produced some fine stops in goal for Cemaes, who lead the table by two points but Bethesda have four games in hand.

CPD Llanystumdwy 2 CPD Nefyn United 2

Third-place Nefyn missed a chance to cut the gap on the leading pair when they had to settle for a share of the spoils at Treborth.

However, it could have been worse for the Penwaig as they trailed 2-0 at one stage.

Mabon Owen and Arwyn Jones both netted within the first half-hour to put Llan in command.

Captain Ifan Gwilym Jones replied before half time and Tomi Evans produced a 64th minute equaliser.

FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH CUP ROUND 1

Prestatyn Town Reserves 1 Holywell Town Development 3

Progress for Holywell in a first round battle at Bastion Gardens.

Two goals in a minute from Caelan McGovern, one a penalty, made it 2-0 to the Wellmen, but Tom Wardle hit back almost instantly with a cracker for the Seasiders.

The tie was in the balance until the 94th minute when sub Josh Acott bagged Holywell’s third.
