Wednesday night fixtures: Huge tier 4 battle in store

Llun: CPD Cemaes Bay – diolch

A huge tier 4 match is on the agenda for Wednesday night when the top two in the North Wales Coast West Premier Division meet.

Leaders Cemaes Bay, on 49 points from 22 games, host Bethesda Athletic, in second with 47 points from 18 matches.

The teams have not met this season, with Bethesda scheduled to entertain Cemaes in the return at Parc Meurig on April 19.

With the end of March approaching, Pesda still have a demanding 12 league matches still to play, while Cemaes have eight to go

Athletic have lost just once in the league this term, at Llannerchymedd last month, while Bay have suffered only three defeats in 22 outings.

Tuesday’s game could see prolific goal-getters on either side in opposition. Cameron Buckley and Luke McGivern are both danger men for the Anglesey side, while captain Osian Hughes and Joe Todd are among the visitors’ threats.
