Bethesda Athletic’s first league defeat of the season in the North Wales Coast West Premier Division last weekend means there are now only three undefeated teams left across the senior football pyramid.

They are:

Penmaenmawr Phoenix – North Wales Coast East Premier Division
Played 15 Won 11 Drawn 4 Lost 0 GD +48 Points 37

Number of league matches remaining: 13

Phoenix are second in the tier 4 North Wales Coast East Premier, three points behind leaders CPD Y Glannau with five games in hand.

Pen have 13 league games still to play with their major title rivals appearing to be Y Glannau, Kinmel Bay and Cerrigydrudion.

The yellow and blues have amassed 59 goals in 15 league matches to date and conceded a miserly 11.

Their superior GD is worth an extra point.

The Cae Sling outfit have also reached the NWCFA Intermediate Cup Final, where they will play local rivals Llanfairfechan Town, in May.

They are also into the semi-finals of the Cookson Cup.

Rhos United – North Wales Coast East Division One
Played 17 Won 15 Drawn 2 Lost 0 GD +75 Points 47

Rhos United (red and black) in action

Number of league matches remaining: 7

Rhos are very handily placed, six points clear at the summit and undefeated in 17 league matches.

They have piled up 85 goals (5.00 per game exactly) and let in just 10 – with 11 clean sheets in total.

Rhos are also through to the semi-finals of the REM Jones Cup, where a tussle with Henllan awaits.

Llandudno Reserves – FAW Cymru Reserve League North West
Played 15 Won 12 Drawn 3 Lost 0 GD +45 Points 39

Number of league matches remaining: Unknown

Llandudno Reserves have been unstoppable so far in a division comprising just seven teams.

The only realistic threat to their title ambitions appears to be Colwyn Bay Reserves.
