CPD Llannerchymedd 3-4 Cemaes Bay

Luke McGivern’s 92nd minute winner clinched the points which put Cemaes top of the Premier table.

Bay are now a point ahead of long-time leaders Bethesda Athletic, who have played three games less.

But what a battle it proved to be at Cae Tan Parc on Saturday, with much improved Llannerchymedd giving it everything they had.

Medd produced a great first half showing, Callum Roberts and Arden Gisbourne netting on 26 and 31 minutes respectively, both players also providing an assist.

Cemaes had work to do, and by the hour mark they were level, McGivern and Tom Wood making it two-apiece.

On 78 minutes, Wood made it 3-2 Bay with his 16th goal of the season having netted twice in each of his last three games.

Gisbourne equalised for Llan on 82 – his 18th goal of the campaign.

What a finish was in store, and it was Cemaes who edged it when McGivern’s 18th goal this term and 11th in his last five games won the day, Ryan Folksman assisting.

CPD Aberffraw 0-4 CPD Nefyn United

Eight undefeated for Nefyn, Tomi Evans, Josh Piper, Gethin Trenholme and Iwan Moore with the goals which saw off Berffro.

Aberffraw had Jac Grindlay dismissed on 70 minutes for two yellow cards.

CPD Boded 6-0 CPD Llanystumdwy

Boded made it 10 without loss as they thrashed Llanystumdwy at Cae Ty Cristion.

Since the turn of the year, the Anglesey side have registered three straight wins, netting 14 goals and not conceding once.

Cian Owen (2), Tom Kelly, Dylan Griffith, Casey Boylan (pen) and Osian Cai Williams split the latest haul of Green Army goals.

CPD Mynydd Llandegai 0-5 Llanrug United

After back-to-back defeats Llanrug responded well at Penrhiw, Shaun Roberts (2), Jake Calley-Thomas, Ywain Jones and Jonathan Sadler all on target.

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 1-1 Glantraeth

Andy Clarke’s penalty gave Glantraeth a 22nd minute lead, but Gwion Davies levelled on 76 for Penrhyn, who had Meilir Edwards red-carded on 50.

CPD Pentraeth 2-2 Talysarn Celts

Sub Connor O’Neill salvaged a draw for Pentraeth with an added time equaliser.

Gethin Wyn Jones’ pair put Celts two-up in the first half, but Matthew Parry pulled one back for the hosts just before the break.

Division One

CPD Cefni 0-1 CPD Deiniolen

Dafydd Bryn Jones produced the 72nd minute goal which secured Deiniolen maximum points at Isgraig Playing Field.

Holyhead Town 1-6 Caergybi

Ruthless from Caergybi in the Holyhead derby, the visitors keeping their league title push on course alongside having reached the NWCFA Junior Cup Final.

Louis Chapman notched a hat-trick for the visitors, including a penalty, making it 15 goals this season.

Steve Driedyk and Jerome Sillence added singles, while sub James Ryan was overjoyed to net his 200th career goal in the 73rd minute.

Holyhead’s only goal came via Matty Rowlands in the first half.

Llanfairpwll 0 Amlwch Town 1

Two sides which used to compete against each other in the tier 2 Cymru Alliance met in a fifth-tier derby on Saturday.

And it was visitors Amlwch who emerged victorious via Todd Cusick’s 52nd minute strike.

Amlwch also had Tudur Morris-Jones dismissed on 80 for a second yellow.

Llanfairpwll remain top despite rhe defeat.

Llangoed & District 5-2 CPD Mountain Rangers

Llion Roberts was a hat-trick hero, while Wayne Thomas and Ben Harding also found the net as Llangoed made it back-to-back emphatic home wins.

Daniel Owen and Rhys Jones (pen) responded for Rangers.
