Amy Richardson made her full SWPL 1 debut in Partick Thistle’s 1-1 weekend draw at Hearts.

The Wales international, who is on a three-year contract at Celtic but joined Thistle on loan for the rest of the season last week, played the full 90 minutes in the match at Oriam on Sunday.

The Jambos struck first on 10 minutes through Georgia Timms, but after that the visitors defended well, with goalkeeper Jeni Currie outstanding.

Partick levelled after 69 through a header from second-half substitute Carla Boyce.

The 19-year-old Richardson, who hails from Penrhyn Bay and formerly attended Ysgol John Bright Llandudno, made her first Thistle appearance as a late sub in a 0-0 draw at Aberdeen last Wednesday.

She was on from the start on Sunday and produced a solid performance.

Amy received her first full call up for Wales in July and moved to Celtic in the summer on a three-year contract having previously been part of the Everton Academy system.

On a dual registration, Amy last season played her football with Liverpool Feds in the FA Women’s National League North.

This season Amy has played three times for the Celtic first team in addition to being part of the Ghirls’ Champions League squad.
