PREVIEW: Match of the Weekend – Airbus UK Broughton v Colwyn Bay (JD Cymru North)

JD CYMRU NORTH

Airbus UK Broughton v Colwyn Bay (Saturday, 2pm)
The mother of all six-pointers takes place on Saturday when top two Airbus UK Broughton and Colwyn Bay clash at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
Bay, who have won 16 league matches in a row, would hit the summit if they can complete a double over a Wingmakers outfit the Seagulls defeated 6-3 at the Four Crosses Construction Arena in September.
Colwyn Bay closed the gap on Mark Allen’s leaders to just one point a fortnight ago, as they triumphed 5-1 over Flint Mountain and the Broughton side were beaten 2-1 by Holywell Town, their first defeat since September.
Both sides were then victorious in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup last weekend, the Seagulls winning 3-0 away to Gresford Athletic and Airbus thrashing Llay Miners Welfare 5-1.
The reverse fixture between the two sides in September was a nine-goal thriller, as Bay’s Craig Lindfield scored a hat-trick against his former club in a 6-3 win for Michael Wilde’s men.
