Amy makes brief debut for Partick Thistle in SWPL 1 draw at Aberdeen

Amy Richardson made her debut as a late substitute for Partick Thistle in tonight’s 0-0 draw at Aberdeen in SWPL 1.
The 19-year-old signed for Thistle on loan from Celtic for the rest of the 2024-25 season yesterday.
Glasgow-based Partick are in the bottom half Relegation Round of SWPL 1, but are top of that section.
This evening’s battle at Balmoral Stadium saw Thistle push hard for a late winner, but the game ended goalless.
Amy, who joined Celtic last summer, has featured in three games this term for the champions and was also part of their Champions League squads.
The full-back or central defender has been a regular through the age groups for Wales over the years and earned her first senior call-up in July.
She hails from Penrhyn Bay and is a former pupil of Ysgol John Bright, Llandudno.
Before signing a three-year deal with Celtic she was at the Everton Academy.
