Valley Seniors new manager Clark Thomas has announced six new signings in the January transfer window.

Former Aberffraw, Menai Bridge Tigers and CPD Boded defender Clark, also manager of Bangor University seconds, recently took over at the Anglesey village club which compete in North Wales Coast West Division One.

New faces set to feature for Valley in 2025 are: Robert Preiser, Oliver Carter, Bobby Mantchev, Jaiden Nelson, Leon Gill and Kris Backiel.

Here, Clark gives a rundown on his first six captures for the club.

Robert Preiser (signed from Menai Bridge)

Rob’s someone I’ve played with recently. Extremely dependable, he brings bags of experience and quality to the right hand side for us, he’s constantly talking and setting standards

Oliver Carter (signed from Menai Bridge)

Oli’s a quick and tricky winger I’ve luckily never had to come up against. He’s become a confident and dangerous winger, and he’s someone that never settles, he’s constantly wanting more.

Bobby Mantchev (signed from Llannerchymedd)

Bobby’s someone I’m seeing improving week by week. He’s had a couple position changes in recent years, but has found some confidence and consistency on the wing recently, and I’m sure he’ll bring that form into Valley

Jaiden Nelson (signed from Llanfairpwll)

Jaiden’s a GK I’m managing at the moment with Bangor University 2’s. He’s quick off his line, and good with his feet, and will only improve as time goes on

Leon Gill and Kris Backiel

Leon Gill

These lads for whatever reason hadn’t been involved with Saturday football until now.

Leon’s becoming a really solid centre midfielder for me, box to box, sitting in, a dependable player bringing a good load of energy and quality to the middle of the park

Kris Backiel

Kris is a solid CB, a position we were lacking a bit of depth in when I came. He’s deceivingly quick, reads the game well and is confident driving the ball forward getting us playing from the back

All great additions to the team 💪🏻
