Caernarfon Town 0

Unbeaten Pwllheli roared to the top of the table with a ruthless seven-goal demolition of a Caernarfon side they only just beat 3-2 away back in September.

It was a different story at The Rec on Sunday where Pwll delivered a great team performance with five players making the scoresheet.

The opener came on 10 minutes when Stacey Sansome helped set up captain Magi Hughes, whose strike from inside the box hit the underside of the crossbar and found the net.

Lois Thomas made ir 2-0 when she capitalised on a rebound after a Sian Moore effort came back off the goal frame.

Three minutes before the break, Thomas scored her 11th goal of the season, Jini Owen Hughes with the assist.

Half-time: 3-0

There was no let-up from Pwllheli after the restart.

In the 61st minute, a Jini Owen Hughes strike was saved by Luned Williams, but Moore converted the rebound at the back post.

It was Moore again on 71 minutes, the defender making it four goals in four games. Hughes delivered a corner and Moore knocked the ball home at the front post.

Sub Erin Williams made it 6-0 in the 90th minute, the 17-year-old finishing off a Bess Roberts cross.

Goal number seven was a beauty. Good build-up from halfway saw Hughes cross from the left, Moore receive the ball at the top of the box and pass smartly for Sansome to slot in.
