Cynghrair Pêl-rwyd Hogan Gwynedd a Môn Netball League – Menai, Genod Walis and Pumas maintain their 100% records

Menai Mavericks continued their great start to the 2024-25 winter league season with a 27-18 victory over prolific former champions Arfon Ladies to make it three straight wins in DIVISION ONE.
Leading by three goals at half time, Mavericks were in front throughout, with Gwenno Pritchard particularly outstanding in a great team display.
Rebals TC handed Penygroes Primos their first defeat by an emphatic 28-12 margin, while Tim o Walis pushed second-place Walis Bryncoch hard before falling to a 30-25 defeat.
Bethesda gave Celts Bach a fine battle before going down 27-19, Laura Davey standing out for the Ogwen side.
In DIVISION TWO, leaders Blaenau Ffestiniog edged a 15-13 verdict over Walis Wariars.
The match stood at 12-12 entering the last quarter, but Blaenau just managed to get over the line.
Genod Walis, lying second, made it three wins out of three with a comfortable 38-8 decision over Bethesda Bach.
Holyhead Hawks defeated Pwllheli Dreigiau Dre 14-7, while Porthmadog outscored Thunderjags 21-12, Romily Wane having a fine game for the losing team.
