Conwy Borough have added the top-scorer in the tier 4 North Wales Coast East Premier Division to their squad in a bid to revive fortunes.
Lewis Brownson has switched to Y Morfa from Glan Conwy, where his 16 goals this term made him the runaway leader of the Premier’s leading marksman table.
Brownson, 23, joined Glan from Bro Cernyw at the start of the current season.
It is hoped he can help tier 3 Ardal North West outfit Conwy in their quest to rise from their current next-to-bottom position.
Boro manager Simon Allen has also brought in experienced campaigners Andrew Watkin and Michael Corrales.
Midfielder Watkin, 36, lands with the Tangerines after a spell with Hawarden Rangers of the North East Wales Premier, having also previously represented Cefn Albion.
Corrales, 35, signs from Mochdre Sports of the North Wales Coast East Premier and his other former clubs include Penmaenmawr Phoenix.
All three new arrivals featured in today’s 4-1 loss for Conwy at Nantlle Vale.
Another recent addition at Y Morfa is talented young player Sam Parry from Colwyn Bay.
