Holywell Town 2 Guilsfield 1

Third-place Holywell Town earned back-to-back wins for the first time since September as they triumphed 2-1 at home over Guilsfield on Saturday.

Jamie Breese’s header from Danny Andrews’ cross put the Wellmen ahead in the 17th minute, but they were pegged back just four minutes later as Jake Cook’s sublime strike from distance nestled into the back of the net.

Johnny Haseldin’s side posed more of an attacking threat in the early stages of the second half and they were rewarded for their efforts as Macauley Taylor, who had only come off the bench nine minutes earlier, sent a crisp volley into the top corner in the 66th minute.

Guilsfield pressed for an equaliser, Jamie Hyne firing over from a good position before Ryan Woods denied Iwan Matthews with a tremendous save, ensuring the hosts took maximum spoils.

Caersws 0 Flint Mountain 1

Mountain climbed to sixth in the table as Andy Brown’s stoppage-time winner saw them snatch a 1-0 victory away to Caersws on Saturday.

Brown rose highest to head home from Ryan Kershaw’s cross in the fourth added minute,

Llay Welfare 1 Colwyn Bay 2

Second-place Colwyn Bay remain four points behind Airbus as they came from behind to beat bottom side Llay Welfare 2-1 at The Ring.

Jonathan Collo’s lob over Rhys Williams gave Llay the advantage after just eight minutes, but their lead lasted only seven minutes as Craig Lindfield brought Bay level with a sweetly-struck effort through a number of bodies.

The winning goal arrived just before the hour mark when Lindfield volleyed in from Sam Hart’s corner to secure a 10th consecutive league victory for the Seagulls.

Penrhyncoch 5 Llandudno 0

Cameron Allen’s four-goal haul inspired Penrhyn to a 5-0 win over Llandudno at Cae Baker.

After a goalless first half, the hosts took control of the game after the hour mark as Allen scored twice in the space of six minutes. The teenager struck twice more in the closing stages either side of Dan Owen’s neat finish to complete Penrhyncoch’s biggest victory in the second tier in over eight years.
