Goals from Abbie Iddenden, Rosie Hughes and Liv Fuller secured a much-needed victory for Wrexham at The Rock.
The hosts dominated from the start and were rewarded with a calm finish from Iddenden after 20 minutes.
Ten minutes into the second half, Iddenden turned supplier with a perfect through ball for Hughes to apply the finish.
Fuller’s back-post finish three minutes from time completed the home side’s success.
NEWFA WOMEN’S CHALLENGE CUP
CPDM Bangor 3 Caernarfon Town 1
All the goals came in the first half at Bangor City Stadium, with the home side advancing to the semi-finals.
Cerys Parry put Bangor ahead on 10 minutes, Erin Basinger with the assist, but the Cofis levelled through Elan Evans with 20 gone.
Georgia Owen-Lewis put the citizens 2-1 up in the 34th minute, Ashleigh Jones setting her up, and Seren Macdonald added a third on 39, her twi sister Cerys assisting.
Llandudno 0 Connah’s Quay Nomads 5
Revenge for Nomads in no uncertain terms as they hammered a Llandudno side which knocked them out of the Welsh Cup on penalties on this same ground seven days earlier.
This time it was Jordan Parry’s visiting side who took the honours, Phoebe Ellis opening the scoring after just three minutes.
Polly Wild McGregor made it two in the ninth minute from a Natasha Spearing assist and it remained 2-0 to the holders up to half time.
Nomads, aiming to win the NEWFA Challenge Cup for a fourth time on the bounce, continued to control the tie, Wild McGregor making it 3-0 on 54 minutes with her 11th goal of the season.
Quay made a host of substitutions and rounded off a memorable victory with late strikes from Melanie Barlow and Alisha Whitehead-Hughes.
Northop Hall 0 CPDM Y Felinheli 6
Hana Wellings netted her first hat-trick in a Felinheli shirt as her side coasted through at the expense of Northop Hall.
The tier 2 Genero Adran North visitors were two-up after 20 minutes courtesy of goals from Fflur Williams and Jordanne Greenough, Jody Cain and Kelly Jones with the assists.
Wellings added a third after 22, Rubie Davies assisting.
After the break, Wellings struck again on 57 minutes, Llion Henshaw helping set her up. And it was treble time for Wellings when she converted a 64th minute spot-kick.
There was still time for Llywela Edwards to add a sixth for Aaron Jones-Evans’ side, who soundly defeated their Tier 3 North Wales League East hosts.
CPD Pwllheli 4 Amlwch Town 0
Katie Bowe struck twice for a Pwllheli side which proved too powerful in front of goal for their tellow Tier 3 opponents Amlwch.
Bowe broke the deadlock deep into added time at the end of the first half.
Sian Moore doubled the lead on 58, Lois Thomas with the assist, and she also set up Bowe for her second, and Pwll’s third, with 66 gone.
Bowe then turned provider as Moore made it a personal double on 89.

CPDM Llanystumdwy 1 Denbigh Town 0
Llanystumdwy bounced back brilliantly from their double-figure Welsh Cup loss to mighty Wrexham the weekend before with a fine win over Denbigh at Parc Dwyfor.
With their opponents top of the North Wales East table, it promised to be a tough afternoon for the home side, but not only did they keep a clean sheet, they notched the winning goal through Anna Pugh on 67 minutes.

Llangefni Town 7 CPD Merched Hernllan 1
Hat-tricks from the in-form Ellie Coulson and twice tier 2 title winner Ffion Owen guided Llangefni to a resounding win over a young and inexperienced Henllan side.
Hannah Owen was also on the mark for Cefni, all this after Rhian Edwards had given the visitors a very early lead through from an Abby Cattell assist.

Welshpool Town 0 Trearddur Bay 5
It is now three wins in four games for a Trearddur Bay outfit which ran out convincing winners at Maesydre.
Millie Turner, Jess Woods, Amelia Roberts, Abbie Manning and captain Freya Davies all netted one goal apiece for Ali Thomas’ Anglesey aces.
