Ardal Northern: Porthmadog and Connah’s Quay Town win again, Brickfield drop first points

Conwy Borough 2-1 St Asaph City

James Lansdowne delivered a double for a Conwy side which celebrated a morale-boosting victory at Y Morfa last Saturday.
Captain Lansdowne struck on 44 and 68 minutes, Macsen Rhys-Williams supplying two assists.
James Williams replied for Saints with a 48th minute penalty.
New signing for Boro, defender Charles Lloyd, came on in the 61st minute and had a positive effect on the side.
Llangefni Town 1-1 NFA FC
Good result for an NFA side which has been impeccable at home but picked up their first away point of the season on Saturday.
David Wallis handed the Rhyl visitors a 20th minute lead from a Kai Davies assist.
Cefni were finding it tough going, but managed to equalise on 52 minutes through a penalty from Josh Stanley-Williams.
CPD Llannefydd 0-2 CPD Y Rhyl 1879

A fine result on the road at a ground where they have previously struggled moved Rhyl up to third in the table.
Jonny Bravo Pinto’s seventh goal of the season put the Lilywhites on their way. the Portuguese netting in the 10th minute from a Tom Kemp assist.
Rhyl had Oliver Staveley dismissed for a second yellow on 56, but undeterred managed to double their lead through Reece Fairhurst on 70.
Menai Bridge Tigers 2-3 Llanrwst United
Sam Thomas’ 89th minute penalty clinched victory for Llanrwst over a Menai Bridge side who will feel unfortuate not to claim their first point in tier 3.
The Anglesey side led 2-0 at half time though Dean Redmond and Callum Graves, new signing from Llanberis, Kurt Hellfeld, assisting for the second goal.
After the break a Conor Davies double on 55 and 65 made it all-square and the Rwsters delivered that hammer blow after 89.
Tigers had coach Lee Moore red-carded on 80 minutes.
Nantlle Vale 0-2 Connah’s Quay Town
Sam Reynolds and sub George Davies came up with the vital goals as tier 3 new arrivals Town made it five wins and a draw at the expense of Nantlle Vale.
The Deesiders are flying high in second place, only behind leaders Porthmadog on goal difference.
Porthmadog 3-0 Corwen
Hat-trick hero Tom Hilditch inspired Porthmadog to an impressive win which keeps them top of Ardal North West on goal difference.
The outstanding striker is already on 12 goals for the campaign with two trebles in his collection.
The former Prestatyn Town front man saw off Corwen with penalties on 40 and 52 minutes and a third goal after 69.
CPD Pwllheli 1-1 Holyhead Hotspur
Honours even at a windswept Recreation Ground.
Steffan Toplis handed Pwllheli a 13th minute lead from an Ashley Ainsworth assist, but sub Cory Williams levelled matters with an 82nd minute free kick – his eighth goal of the season.
CPD Y Felinheli 0-2 Trearddur Bay

Another impressive result for a Bay side which made it nine matches undefeated in all competitions.
It took the Anglesey visitors a good while to break through, Les Davies providing the magic moment in the 78th minute from a James Leatherbarrow assist.
Davies has now scored in seven successive games, compiling an awesome 12 goals in that spell.
The prolific Kaine Bentley sealed the points for Trearddur in the 90th minute, Dan McGinness setting him up.

Cefn Albion 1-5 Llanuwchllyn
A tough one to take for Cefn Albion, but a truly eye-catching away display from Llanuwchllyn.
Meilir Williams pocketed yet another hat-trick for Llan, making it 14 goals already this season and 59 in 48 games for the club in total since he joined at the start of 2023-24.
Gwydion Ifan and captain Ilan Hughes also struck for the visitors, Tom Smith (pen) with a consolation for Cefn.
Dolgellau Athletic 4-1 Rhos Aelwyd
Comfortable for Dolgellau over struggling Rhos, Gethin Evans, Dennis Bates, Paul Lewis and Osian Morris with the home strikes, Ryan Jenkins responding.
Kerry 1-4 Bow Street
Second-half substitute Rhys Hughes notched a hat-trick to seal an emphatic win for managerless leaders Bow Street.
Steff Davies was also on the mark for the visitors. Kerry’s two-year unbeaten league record at Dolforgan Park came to an end.
Llandrindod Wells 3-0 Llansantffraid
Liam Hall (pen), Kieran McCarley and sub Oliver Belfield supplied the goals which banked the points for Wells.
Llangollen Town 0-1 Llanfair United
Nyasha Mwamuka notched the 66th minute goal which earned Llanfair a third away league win of the campaign.
Penycae 3-1 Builth Wells
Thomas Edwards scored twice from the penalty spot and Zac Davies added a 95th minute third to cement a fine win for Penycae.
Tommy Rowlands replied with a pen for Builth, who in the latter stages had Ryan Powell and Danny Ives dismissed for two yellows, while Lee James was shown a straight red.
Radnor Valley 2-2 Brickfield Rangers
After five straight wins, Brickfield dropped their first league points of the season.
The on-fire Andy Vale scored twice in the first half for Rangers, one a penalty, but goals from Dale Richards and Charles Beaumont secured Radnor a fine point.
