Monday football: Bethesda Athletic make it 3 from 3 and top the table

NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE
Premier Division
Llanystumdwy 2 (Gwenallt 76, T Williams 90)
Bethesda Athletic 5 (N Hughes 10, Hartleb 17 & 44, Todd 74, Robertson 81)
Monday night football at Treborth saw Bethesda make it three straight league wins at the expense of Saturday’s FAW Trophy heroes Llanystumdwy.
Athletic are the early pace-setters in the Premier Division with a maximum nine points putting them firmly in top spot. Early days, but it does no harm at all to get points in the bank.
Mark Hughes’ side struck first in the 10th minute when Kyle Hartleb set up Noa Hughes to score.
It was 2-0 on 17 minutes, Hartleb this time the net-finder and Cian Williams with the assist.
Just before the break Hartleb struck again to make it three, Shaun Lock this time the provider.
The low sun shining in the first half did not make it easy for Llanystumdwy keeper Sion Parry.
The Ogwen Valley side went four-up on 74 minutes when Joe Todd continued his profitable start to the campaign.
Cameron Roberts added the fifth with 81 gone and it looked like the visitors were going to keep another clean sheet.
However, a Llanystumdwy side which knocked higher league Menai Bridge Tigers out of the Trophy two days earlier, found some late energy to score consolation goals via Guto Gwenallt and sub Tomos Williams.
