CPDM Bangor reflected on a positive season when they held their annual awards presentations at the weekend.
In their first season as a Genero Adran North side, having been promoted to Tier 2 after winning the North Wales Women’s League title as invincibles in 2022-23, the all-blues successfully conquered the threat of relegation.
At the recent Adran Leagues presentations in Cardiff, Bangor’s outstanding Menna Evans was voted Young Player of the Season.
Striker who made 18 appearances in all competitions for the club in 2023-24 and netted eight goals.
Emerged through the ranks at Bangor, representing the under-17 and U19 sides before making her first team debut in March 2022.
Still just 18, she has featured in 34 matches for Bangor’s first team, scoring 13 times. Her exciting and powerful running with the ball makes her an eye-catching performer.
Highlight of her career so far must be winning the Genero Adran North Young Player of the Year award for 2023-24.
Midfield ace, aged 19, who began the 2023-24 season with Amlwch Town but returned to Bangor in October.
Made 12 appearances for Bangor last term, scoring twice, and netted two goals in five appearances for Amlwch.
Since making her debut for CPDM Bangor in 2021-22, she has notched 18 goals in 46 appearances.
Mia was also a member of the brilliant Penrhyn Bay side which reached the 2020-21 FAW Under-16 Girls Cup final, losing 4-3 to Barry Town United.
Brilliant young winger, aged just 16, who made 12 appearances for CPDM Bangor in Tier 2 Genero Adran North last season.
Has also played for the CPDM Bangor Under-15 and U17 teams in the past three seasons, so is proving to be one of the fastest developers at the club.
Ffion cannot wait to begin her tenure as CPDM Bangor captain this season, and to prove how highly the new skipper is thought of, she was named Players’ Player for 2023-24.
Made 21 appearances last term, scoring in the opening game, a 2-0 NWCFA Women’s Challenge Cup victory over Pwllheli.
Was part of the Bangor side which topped the 2022-23 North Wales Women’s League, playing in 20 games and scoring twice.
Has been with the all-blues since 2021-22, having before that represented Llanberis in 2019-20.
She has also played senior football for Caernarfon Town, Bethel and Bangor University Despite her experience, she is still aged just 24.
Right-back who joined Bangor in October 2021 from Denbigh Town.
Has made 55 first team appearances for the all-blues, always proving and solid and dependable member of the defence.
Alongside current team-mate Ffion Bee, the pair won the 2013/14 FAW Under-16 Welsh Cup with Caernarfon Town.
Catrin went on to shine for Bethel for a few seasons before moving on to Denbigh.
