Night of great celebration for Kinmel Bay – a true family football club

It was a sparkling night as Kinmel Bay Football Club held their annual presentation evening at the Kinmel Manor, Abergele.

Star guest of honour was Wales and Everton legend Neville Southall, now a prolific supporter of charitable causes, who handed out the prizes and conducted a Q and A about his career with the audience.

Kinmel Bay’s first, development and women’s teams all received their season’s awards and were very well represented across the board.

During the campaign, Bay’s first team won the Tier 4 Cookson Cup, the development side performed really well in their divisions and the women’s side finished third in the NWWFL East in an impressive comeback season in league football.

The constant reference to Kinmel Bay being a “family club” was largely the overriding theme of the evening.

Providing great musical entertainment were The Wanderers – Steve Taylor and Alan Maylor.

Massive congratulations to Kinmel Bay FC’s 2023-2024 winners
