- She was born on September 22, 2005 and shares the same birthday as Celtic and Ireland defender Caitlin Hayes, also Brazil defender Thiago Silva

- Elana began playing football aged 11, spending her early years with Flint Town United Girls
- Her mother, Faicka, is a football referee
- She has snapped ligaments in her stronger right foot three times, but keeps recovering well.
- Elana has played in every position over the past 7 years including goalkeeper against Everton for the Welsh Regionals (I didn’t concede surprisingly, she says)

- She spent the 2021-22 season with Wrexham Under-19s, netting nine goals in eight games and reaching the Genero Adran national play-off final.
- Elana joined Connah’s Quay Nomads at the start of 2022-23 and scored on her under-19 debut against The New Saints.

- She has scored 25 goals in 38 appearances for Nomads first team and also 25 in 29 games for the under-19s. That makes her overall club stats 67 appearances and 50 goals.
- Elana has won the NEWFA Challenge Cup with Nomads in both of the past two seasons.
- At the age of 14, Elana was chosen to attend a Wales Women’s Under-17 training camp. She has also represented the North Wales Under-16 Elite Regional Squad.
