North Wales Cricket League Premier – Gwersyllt stun champions, Mochdre win again, Brymbo, Denbigh and Bridge victorious

Promoted Gwersyllt Park produced a fantastic performance to beat champions St Asaph on their own territory.
Saints won the toss and elected to bat, posting 223 all out off 50 overs, opener Matty Ryan top-scoring with 69.
Jake James picked up 3-34, Ryan Collier 2-16, Neil Pearson 2-41 and Venumadhaf Peram 2-42.
In reply, Gwersyllt were 18-2, but then a series of vital partnerships got them home on 225-7 off 47.4.
Collier led the charge with 55, Alfie Lythgoe hit 38 not out and all-rounder James 36, Ryan Dunning 2-19 and Dan Evans 2-35 for below par Saints.
Bangor (3) 148-10 Mochdre (12) 192-8

Magic Mochdre lead the table by 22 points after completing a sixth straight win at the expense of Bangor.
Calling the coin correctly and deciding on first knock, the leaders posted 192-8 off 50 overs, skipper Joe Chaplin 36, Marcus Mangiameli 35 and Matty Humphreys 32.
Owen Reilly pocketed 3-60 and Idrees Ijaz 2-49 for the hosts.
Bangor could only manage 148 all out in response, Ryan Symonds-Mayes 30 and Reilly 29, Chaplin 2-18, Mangiameli 2-23 and Humphreys 2-31 for the victors.
Brymbo (13) 231-7 Gresford (2) 160-10

Connor Davies hit 79 and Chris Taylor 55 as Brymbo set a match-winning effort of 231-7 off 50 overs after being invited to bat.
Davies and Taylor put on 102 for the third wicket.
Simon Perry bagged 3-35 and Tom Crewe 2-49 for the Colliers, who were dismissed for 160 in their innings.
Wes Evans made 46 and Gareth Bell 36 not out, Mohamed Nilam Jayman 3-16, Daniel Parry 2-23 and Sam Aplin 2-27 for the victorious Steelmen.

Maximum points for dominant Denbigh at The Oval.
James Du Toit topped the chart with 84 and Sam Lewis made 42 as the visitors amassed 234-6 after opting to bat.
Jack Rimmington snapped up 4-55 and Luke Regan 2-39 for the hosts, who were then sent packing for 133, Sam Rimmington a defiant 56, Harrison Jones 3-4 and James Thomas 2-39 helping the Vale of Clwyd travellers to victory.
Menai Bridge (13) 143-10 Northop (2) 91-10

Bridge’s modest total of 143 all out proved enough to deliver them victory at Tyn-y-Caeau Drive.
Arwel Thomas posted 30, Ashley Wood 25 not out and Matthew Jones 25 for the hosts, Ashraf Nawab 3-17 off 10, Ben Beaver 2-18 and Bart Ryan-Beswick 2-25 for the visitors,
Left-arm spinner Wood then produced a magical spell of 5-13 off 8.4 as Northop’s usually strong batting line-up collapsed to 91 all out, Ryan-Beswick 21 down the order.
Liam Bibby took 2-19 and Matthew Jones 2-21 for the islanders.
