Get ready for the clash of invincibles!
Two invincibles will meet when a play-off final to be relished takes place early next month.
Flint Town United and Pwllheli will meet in the North Wales Women’s Football League play-off final to decide the overall champions for 2023-24.
In lifting the North Wales East title, Flint put together a perfect 12 games, 12 wins record, while in the West division, Pwllheli celebrated a 10 out of 10 whitewash.
While only Flint have applied for promotion to the Tier 2 Adran North League next season, the prestige of being crowned overall North Wales League champions will be immense.
Flint are in just their second season as a team, whereas Pwllheli are vastly more experienced.
Both have outstanding squads and it should be an excellent showdown between the pair.
The match will take place at the OPS Wind Arena in Llandudno on Sunday, May 5, kick-off 1 pm.
Betty Pickering Cup
This weekend will see the quarter-finals of the Betty Pickering Cup being staged.
All 13 teams involved in the North Wales Women’s League took part in an earlier group format with the top two in each of the four pools making it through to the last eight.
