Llanfair United 2 Llansantffraid Village 2

Seven days after an 11-2 humiliation at Llanuwchllyn, Llanfair picked up a much better result at Latham Park tonight.

Kyle Capner gave the hosts a sixth-minute lead, but Thomas Bailey levelled in first half added time.

Flynn Morris had a penalty saved by Saints keeper David Jones early in the second half, then on 67 minutes Liam Pickstock edged the visitors in front.

Morris made up for his penalty miss by equalising in the 77th minute and 2-2 is how it stayed.

Llansantffraid had Khyam Wyton sent off for a second yellow six minutes into stoppage time.

Wednesday, April 3

Penrhyncoch 3 Dolgellau AA 1

Leaders Penrhyncoch moved 14 points clear after recovering from a goal down to beat Dolgellau.

Isaac Pridmore put through his own goal on 32 minutes to give the visitors an advantage, but Rhys Jenkins made it one-apiece in first half added time.

Dion Phillips added a second for Penrhyn on 61 and Jenkins made sure of a home success by completing his double on 72.

Bow Street 7 Welshpool Town 0

Ifan Burrell’s hat-trick led the way in a dominant performance from Bow.

Rhydian Davies, Rhys Hughes, Josh Crowl and Caio Carruthers added a goal each for the second-place side.

Builth Wells 2 Penycae 1

Lyndon Jones’ 91st minute decider won this one for the Bulls.

Tommy Rowlands had given Builth a 42nd minute lead, but Penycae looked to have salvaged a point when Thomas Edwards equalised on 85 – not so.

Cefn Albion 3 Radnor Valley 1

One of the best results in a while for Albion at the expense of a team lying second before start of play.
Rees Morris edged Radnor in front on 10 minutes, but Jordan Williams restored parity after 26.

An Otto Jones own goal a minute into the second half put Cefn in the ascendency and Alex Williams completed the scoring after 57.

Dolgellau Athletic 1 Rhos Aelwyd 0

Gerwyn Williams’ 25th league goal – and 31st in all competitions – five minutes into added time after the 90 delivered a dramatic win for Dolgellau at Cae Marian.

Daniel Owen and a Cameron Allen pair made sure Penrhyn took the spoils and extended their unbeaten league run to 15 matches.

After this Wednesday’s victory, the FAW Trophy finalists are undefeated in 22 matches in all competitions.

Llanuwchllyn 11 Llanfair United 2

Ilan Hughes, Meilir Williams and Warren Aykroyd-Duckett chalked up two goals apiece as Llanuwchllyn hit double figures on Good Friday.

Owain ap Gareth, Garmon Hafal, Iolo Jones and two Matthew Spencer own goals made up the 11, William Davies and Karl Seliaerts with scant consolations for the visitors.
