Match assessment – assistant-manager Billy Fuller

The girls had a full strength side for the first time this season.
They started the game in 4-3-3 and scored an early goal through Ella after 3 minutes.
For the next 20 minutes NFA fought themselves back into the game but when the second goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Maddie, the belief grew and from then Llandudno controlled the match.
With 4 further goals before half time we led 6-0 at the break.
After the break a few changes were made with Maddie and Ella coming off for Stevie and Jas.
Llandudno started the second half like they finished the first and scored a quick goal from Becky in the 46th minute which involved around 10 passes of quick interplay resulting in a great team goal.
Once the 8th goal went in we made a couple more changes with Kelsey and Stacey coming off for Sioned and Cara. NFA fought well for the remainder of the match with them looking dangerous on the counter and defending resolutely.
After Stevie made it nine, a full 30 minutes of action without a goal. However, in the last minute Stevie scored a lovely goal.
NFA stuck to their principles throughout the match and though the scoreline does not reflect it, their attitude, work ethic and positivity was commendable. Full time the girls celebrated with the trophy lift and finally being crowned Adran North champions.
