Trearddur Bay returned to the Premier Division summit on an afternoon where hat-trick star Asa Thomas reached 700 career goals in senior football.

Thomas took his current season total to 43 and moved up to 313 for Bay, who stretched their unbeaten league run this term to 15 games.

Trearddur got off to a flyer at Cae Nerys, Les Davies putting them in front on five minutes before Dan McGinness doubled the lead after 10.

Thomas then struck on 23 and 25 before Callum Roberts stopped the rot by replying for Medd after 28.

Nonetheless, Matt Reynolds bagged a double for the visitors prior to half time and to compound Llan’s misery they had Kieran Murphy red-carded before the break.

Thomas and Reynolds both completed trebles after the break to make it 8-1 before the hosts rallied with a late pair of goals from Sam Roberts (penalty) and captain Hari Jones.

To Medd’s credit, with 10 men they drew the second half 2-2.

Llanberis 5 Penrhyndeudraeth 3

Kurt Hellfeld delivered a double to reach nine league goals for the season as Llanberis came out on top in a high-scoring contest.

Caio Thomas put the Darans ahead on six minutes, but Gwion Davies levelled after 19 and Tom Hughes made it 2-1 Penrhyn with 27 gone.

Hellfeld responded on 31 and 43 minutes to give the hosts the edge at the interval.

Ifan Mansoor and Peter Mansoor netted early in the second half to give the Ffordd Padarn men a 5-2 advantage before Hughes put away a spot-kick on the hour for the visitors – his 17th goal of 2023-24.

Talysarn Celts 5 Mynydd Llandegai 1

Despite falling behind to a 19th minute goal from Liam Willighan, Talysarn hit back to record a 5-1 victory at Treborth.

Jack Usher equalised before the break and Celts then took total control in the second period.

Cai Edwards, Garem Jones, Tirion Roberts and Usher all found the net before the end.
