Llanidloes Town 0

Buckley edged up to 10th in the table and secured Cymru North status for next season after Wednesday night’s victory over next-to-bottom Llanidloes.

The hosts took a 22nd minute lead when Liam Driscoll’s pass released Max Moore, who finished brilliantly into the bottom corner.

Driscoll made it 2-0 to Asa Hamilton’s men just a minute later.

Just before the hour, Moore broke down the flank and sent in a fine cross for James Rutter to finish at the back post.

SATURDAY, MARCH 16

Airbus UK 2 Llanidloes Town 0

Leaders Airbus continued to set the pace at the top of the table as goals at the end of each half secured a 2-0 victory over Llanidloes on Saturday.

Adam Worton’s own goal gave the Wingmakers the perfect end to the first half, while Craig Lindfield sealed victory in the 93rd minute as he beat the offside trap and calmly slotted home his 14th league goal of the season.

Airbus’ unbeaten streak in the JD Cymru North now stands at 19 consecutive games.

Caersws 2 Prestatyn Town 1

Caersws climbed into the top half of the table with a precious 2-1 home victory over Prestatyn Town thanks to Callum Graybrook’s stoppage time winner.

Tom Weir and Neil Mitchell converted penalties either side of half-time as the two teams went into the final 20 minutes all square, but substitute Graybrook came up with the moment of magic in the 93rd minute as his strike beat Joe Lawlor.

Flint Town United 7 Ruthin Town 0

Josh Jones scored a first half hat-trick as third-place Flint coasted to an emphatic 7-0 victory over Ruthin Town at The Essity Stadium.

Elliott Reeves broke the deadlock in the 15th minute before Jones’ treble in the space of just 12 minutes saw Flint lead 4-0 at the interval.

The Silkmen began the second half strongly as Ben Wynne’s low drive into the bottom corner made it five.

Jay Owen got in on the act with a close range finish before Reeves grabbed his second of the match by tapping home from Jake Phillips’ low cross.

Guilsfield 4 Porthmadog 0

Guilsfield recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Porthmadog at the Community Centre Ground.

Jake Cook set up Adam Knott for his first league goal of the season and on the stroke of half-time, Cook doubled the Guils’ lead as his corner flew directly beyond Ollie Farebrother.

Second half goals from Joe Haycock and top scorer Iwan Matthews ended Guilsfield’s run of three consecutive home losses.

Holywell Town 3 Denbigh Town 0

Holywell made it 12 wins in a row as Jamie Breese starred in a 3-0 home triumph against Denbigh Town.

After a goalless first half, Breese opened the scoring just before the hour mark before he turned provider for Gareth Evans three minutes later.

January signing Beau Cornish applied a clinical finish on the turn to make it three in stoppage time.
