Llongyfarchiadau i Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen – treble kings of Wales

Football heroes from Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon, have just completed a magical treble.

Coached by Bryn Williams and Nathan Craig, SHO won the Welsh Schools Cup for the third year in a row with the same set of players.

Their latest success saw them lift the Under-16 Cup, having also won the Under-15 and Under-14 national trophies in previous years.

In last week’s final, Syr Hugh Owen beat Ysgol Mary Immaculate of Cardiff 7-2 at Merthyr Tydfil.

Hari Lambe notched a hat-trick, while Osian Thomas, son of Darren (Cofi Messi) of Caernarfon Town fame. added two and there was one apiece from Jac Jones and Caio Humphreys.
