Lemmy tell you a story – Moiderhead of Bangor have released a Christmas charity tune!

Moiderhead’s Chris Rogers has appeared in TV shows Avenue 5 and Holby City

There’s never a better time to indulge in some musical fun than the Christmas period.

And when an ear-pleasing masterpiece also raises money for a great cause it is as perfect a combination as Yuletide and Noddy Holder.

So prepare your lugholes for Aye of the Bangor by Moiderhead, a perfectly-timed anthemic rock offering available for download now.

The football connection comes from project purveyors Bangor Comrades, who are friends and supporters of CPD Bangor 1876 and anyone else who wants to join in the mirth.

Comrades’ musical platform is Comradation, accessible on the Bandcamp app.

Moiderhead are made up of: Chris Rogers (Avenue 5, Holby City), Joe Shooman (Moidering), Paul Hunt (The Relatives) – Music & Andy Daley (The Relatives, Feral Whispers) – Production and mix.

The song Aye of the Bangor is based on Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Not a Christmas song by any stretch, but an ideal addition to anyone’s collection at this time of year.

Logo by acclaimed artist Pete Jones who is associate artist for 1876 and has work in the national gallery of Wales

On top of a rocking (or rocky) main song is some real-life bonafide Bangor-style moidering – this North Wales district dialect material is not available in the shops.

The song is available to download for £1 (please donate more if you are able) from the following link:

All proceeds go to Canolfan Abbey Road, a local mental health support service – @CanolfanLonAba1
