This match at Aberffraw was halted on 77 minutes when Welshpool allegedly refused to continue playing after their captain Joanne Bliss-Bennett was sent off.
It will now be up to the North Wales Women’s League to decide whether the result will stand.
Reports from match referee Bryan Taylor, plus the two clubs, will need to be assessed before a decision can be made, the league said on Monday.
To ensure the game went ahead, Amlwch were given permission by CPD Aberffraw to use their Cae Cynlas facilities, as Lon Bach was unplayable.
Although Amlwch were dominant for all of the first half, a mixture of determined defending and a failure to break down Welshpool’s offside trap left the Anglesey side frustrated for the first 40 minutes.
The deadlock was finally broken from a Cerys Gadd corner. The dead-ball specialist curled the flag-kick over and it evaded everyone to nestle in the back of the net.
Just before the half-time whistle, Gadd was involved again. From her challenge the ball broke loose and Shannon Thomas was on hand to smash it home.
The second half saw Welshpool have a bit more of the ball but never looked like threatening the Amlwch goal.
Skipper Carol Lewis and Emma Roberts stood firm at the back and Bethan Jones, on her return, showed why she’s a key player in Amlwch’s midfield.
Amlwch still looked like they could add to their total and after 60 minutes, Ellie Jones broke clear and finished well to put her team 3-0 up.
Then came the red-card incident and the game’s premature end.
