Dyffryn Ladies 18-29 Penygroes Primos
(2-7; 6-17; 12-23; 18-29)

Five wins out of five for leaders Primos, but they were given a cracking battle in the second half by Dyffryn Ladies.

At halfway, Primos were in command at 17-6 ahead, but the third and fourth quarters both ended 6-6.

If they keep up their form of the second half, that elusive first victory will surely not be far away for Dyffryn.

Pwllheli Pumas put up a fantastic effort last week against the Wariars

Wariars Walis 28-24 Pwllheli Pumas
(4-5; 12-11; 19-17; 28-24)

How about this one as a contender for game of the week?

Pumas took the first 5-4, Wariars the second and third 8-6 and 7-6 respectively, and it was just 19-17 to the Walis side ahead of the curtain-closer.

It could have gone either way, but Wariars edged it 9-7 and secured the points.

Umpires: Wariars – Ela Haf; Pumas – Melanie Jones

Blaenau Ffestiniog 14-18 Dreigiau Brynrefs Arfon
(5-5; 7-9; 10-15; 14-18)

So good to see Blaenau Ffestiniog in the league, and they gave Dreigiau a real run for their money before the Arfon side eventually held onto their 100% record with a four-goal victory,

The third quarter was most vital for the winners as they took it 6-3 to enjoy a five-goal advantage ahead of the final act.

Blaenau showed their mettle by winning that last section 4-3, however, a great effort from the Quarryfemmes.
