FC Queen’s Park Vets 2 Hawarden Rangers Vets 2
Alan Huxley’s 75th minute equaliser for Queen’s Park earned them a decent home point against league champions Hawarden Rangers on Sunday.
The visitors took a 15th minute lead through Daniel Roberts, but Stephen Rees levelled the contest on 32.
Into the second half and a Nick Henderson penalty put Hawarden ahead for a second time, but the evergreen Huxley, who still plays Saturday football for Lex XI at 45, came up with an important goal, as he so often does, to ensure it ended all-square at Queensway Stadium.

Danny Jellicoe, Matthew Lowe and Danny Porter scored in the first half.
After the break Porter added a penalty, Kevin Evans found the net. Lowe bagged two more to complete a hat-trick and Jordan MacCarter delivered a double.
Michael Bailey pocketed a consolation for Brickfield.

Lee Silvester was a hat-trick hero for White Bear, who edged a narrow victory over the Dragons.
Silvester netted on 1, 4 and 87 minutes for the hosts, Paul Morgan and Ryan Davies also on the mark.
Deeside put up a good battle, Martin Colecliffe, Barry Loughran, Karl Jones and Lee Shone replying for the visitors, whose last two goals arrived very late.
