Llandudno Under-23’s 8 (Roberts OG 16, Guy 23, 36, 51, 86; Hadaway 45+3, Holland pen 56, S Roberts 84)
Four net-finders from Jacob Guy did most to help Llandudno emerge victorious in a mind-blowing 14-goal epic at Holyhead Road.
Chirk’s Ryan Houghton opened the scoring after just 4 minutes with the game’s best goal, a 25 yard screamer into the top corner.
Dudno equalised on 10 minutes through a Tom Roberts own goal.
Guy scored his first of four on 23 minutes to put the away side ahead.
However, it spurred on Chirk and they responded in great style to lead 3-2 with two quick goals from Brandon Edwards and Tom Freeman.
Guy scored his second just before the break to level things up at 3-3.
Jordan Hadaway put the away side ahead straight from the restart but substitute Jack Jones equalised immediately to level it up again at 4-4.
However, two quick goals from Guy, for his hat-trick, and a penalty from Danny Holland put Llandudno in charge at 6-4 on the hour.
Back came Chirk with Niall Freeman and Houghton with his second to level things at 6-6 with 10 minutes remaining.
But the away side took all 3 points with 2 late goals from captain Steffan Roberts and Guy with his fourth goal.
What a game!
(thank you to Chirk AAA for a fantastic report on the above thriller)
