Saints bounced back from their shock 7-0 loss to Connah’s Quay by beating old adversaries Gresford at Clappers Lane.

Nathan Doforo, Oliver Blayney and Ieuan Jones-Wellstead pocketed the goals that mattered.

Ruthin Town 2 Connah’s Quay Nomads 6

The leaders piled on the punishment again – this time at the Memorial Playing Fields.

Fresh from their seven-goal tanning of TNS, Nomads made hay through the finishing of Jayden Tang, Noah Sumner (2), plus substitutes John Cooper, Lucas Gregson and Shayan Dehy.

Brickfield Rangers 2 Nantlle Vale 2

Aaron Griffiths’ 89th minute goal rescued a point for visitors Nantlle Vale.

Jack Honey and Harvey Jones put Brickie two-up before Dewi Cooke pulled one back prior to Griffiths’ late leveller.

Cefn Albion 1 Rhos Aelwyd 0

Jamie Foulkes won this one for Albion with a 93rd minute decider.

Flint Mountain 6 St Asaph City 3

Ben Lawrence (2), Tom Harrison, James Dunseath (2) and Danny Reid shared the goals in this victory for new table-toppers Mountain, who had a pretty good weekend with their first team also knocking Holywell Town out of the Welsh Cup.

Archie Jones, Josh Brown and Corey Brewerton responded for Saints, who were leaders before start of play.

Llangefni Town 3 Saltney Town 1

Thomas Kelly (2) and Rhodri Williams scored the goals which banked the points for Cefni, who ended up 10 men after Jac Grindlay was shown a yellow card on 78 minutes.

Leon Roberts supplied Saltney’s reply.

Llanrwst United 1 Conwy Borough 2

Ryan Boddis and sub Sam Porter’s 77th minute clincher ensured Boro returned home happy from Gwydir Park, where Math Hughes netted for the Rwsters in their first game under Barry Jones’ management.

Llay Welfare 2 Pwllheli 5

Man of the Match Guto Sion Roberts scored twice for comeback kings Pwllheli Reserves, whose other goals came via Cai Bullard, Iwan Roberts-Jones and Connor Livingstone.

Cameron Boyle and Luke Bonner had initially put Llay two-up until Pwllheli launched a great recovery from the 58th minute onwards.
