Choosing the Grassroots North Wales Clwb y Mis/Club of the Month for September proved one of our hardest tasks yet.
Ten amazing contenders pretty much all separated by the circumference of a postage stamp.
However, in the end we made MENAI BRIDGE TIGERS our overall September stars.
The first Anglesey-based recipients of our monthly award, the Tier 4 Tigers won all five matches in the month, but what edged it over the rest in their favour was a fantastic victory at Tier 3 CPD Y Rhyl 1879 in the Welsh Cup on September 16.
This was a real upset, to win away at one of the strongest teams from the level-above Ardal North West.
Just two days later, Bridge faced a major test at home to Nefyn United in the league, but notched two very late goals to grab a 4-3 victory.
Bridge have scored a magnificent 50 goals in 10 matches so far this season, including 25 in five games during September.

Nantlle’s best results came in knockout competition as they triumphed 2-0 at Mochdre Sports in the Welsh Cup and 2-1 away to Pwllheli in the Ardal Northern Cup.
