Birthday girl Kaelyn Williams scored twice as Flint retained top spot in the East League with a hard-fought win over derby rivals Northop Hall.
Williams took just six minutes to open her account, blasting into an empty net past a stranded keeper Haf Morgan-Reed.
It remained 1-0 until three minutes into the second half, when Williams fired into the top right corner after being found by a neat pass inside the box.
On 51 minutes, Tegan Crockett kept up her record of scoring a goal a game since arriving from Rhyl when she netted at the back post following a set-piece.
Northop Hall bagged a late consolation through substitute Brygida Gorecka.
Home side coach Rhys Cooper was shown a red card on 55 minutes.
Flint manager Elliott Hale said after the game: “Personally I felt that we deserved the 3 points and showed why throughout the game.
“Coming up against a side like Northop who are big and physical is always going to be tough, but we competed in all areas on the pitch.
“Going into the game we were missing few big names on the team sheet but the girls didn’t let that affect what happened on the pitch. Same goal and outcome we went in for and I’m happy with the performance.
“Credit to Northop they’re a tough team who I hope do well this year. Same as ourselves they’ve come a long way in such a short period of time
“Many standouts today but player of the match Jennifer Haynes.”

Richards could have levelled in a similar situation, but pulled her shot wide.
Both teams had further opportunities, but it remained 2-1 to Kinmel at the break.
