Llandudno FC find new home until further notice

Llandudno Football Club will adopt Conwy Borough’s Y Morfa as their ‘home’ ground until further notice.
The Cymru North club cannot use its stadium at Maesdu Park in the town for matches at present as the 3G pitch is not up to the required standard.
Last October, the artificial surface at the OPS Wind Arena was inspected by UEFA and the FAW, who informed the club there was a “slight health and safety issue in one area of the pitch”.
Llandudno’s bid for grants to carry out restoration work has failed and they are currently trying to raise the money themselves.
Tudno are set to begin their home schedule for the 2023-24 with a match against Bangor 1876 at Y Morfa on Tuesday, August 8.
The Seasiders issued the following brief statement: “We can tonight confirm our venue for our ‘home’ games for the upcoming season.
“We will be playing our home fixtures at Conwy Borough’s ground, Y Morfa until our 3G pitch is relayed.
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to Conwy Borough for their support and co-operation in organising this venue.”
