Goal bagger Dylan Ford has joined Kinmel Bay from Meliden

Dylan Ford (Meliden to Kinmel Bay)

Brilliant signing for Kinmel Bay.

Instantly nicknamed “Model T” (well, only by me actually) after the great American car of the early 20th century – the Ford Model T.

Last season Dylan netted 20 goals in 26 appearances for Meliden, making a massive impact for The Miners.

With the goal machine Connor Morris already in the Kinmel squad, and Ben Cawley back on board, there could be deluge of balls finding opposition nets from the Y Morfa men in 2023-24.

Liam Dhillon (Cemaes Bay to Gwalchmai)

Quality addition to the Gwalchmai squad.

Wing-back, aged 22, who was outstanding for Cemaes Bay last season. Has also played for Amlwch Town and Bro Goronwy.

Enjoyed many battles against Menai Bridge in the past as captain of a successful Bro Goronwy side.

Sion Davies (Llanfairpwll to Bethesda Rovers)

Rovers are delighted to get full-back Davies on board, as he often impressed his new club when playing against them in the past for Llanfairpwll.

Offers a tremendous work-rate and is defensively sound as well as being a threat going forward.

Dylan Hughes (Llandudno Junction to Bethesda Rovers)

This attacking player spent last season with Llandudno Junction in the tier 4 North Wales Coast East Premier Division and made the scoresheet in his final appearance against Prestatyn Sports.

Aged just 17, he has impressed in training for Rovers and scored on his debut in a friendly against Cemaes Bay.

The goals kept flowing when he later joined Cemaes Bay.

Shaun Pearson (Llandudno to Holywell Town)

Vastly experienced goalkeeper, aged 32, whose former clubs include Llangefni Town, Barrow, Colwyn Bay, Airbus UK Broughton and Llandudno, from where he joins the Wellmen.

Talking of goals and Kinmel Bay FC, who remembers when they stormed to the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy Premier League title in 2017-18?

There was no stopping net-busters supreme Kieran Ellis and Ben Cawley that season.

Ellis is banging them in for CPD Y Rhyl 1879 these days, but good news for Kinmel Bay is that Cawley is back at Y Morfa.

Mark Richards (Chirk AAA to Rhostyllen)

Rhostyllen are building a very impressive squad ahead of the new season.

The Wrexham side will have promotion from the tier 4 North East Wales League Premier Division in their sights and a sign of their ambition is the capture of goalkeeper Mark Richards from Cymru North club Chirk AAA.

The surname will catch your attention straight away – it is one of the most famous in European football.

However, while Denbigh’s new signing Levent Gundogan might not be as famous as namesake İlkay yet, by the end of this season Town’s young striker could be a name being talked about in many circles.

Previously with Connah’s Quay Nomads and Manchester United’s youth academy, the 20-year-old is also a Welsh international having played at Under 15 and 16 level.

A player of great potential who took a break from football last season, he has a goal scoring pedigree.

A big strong lad who is a great shot stopper, he will look to get better week in week out.

Steffan Taylor (Bangor 1876 to Bethesda Athletic)

Having progressed through the Bangor academy system and then onto 1876, Pentraeth-based Taylor is of good pedigree.

Bethesda manager Mark Hughes is delighted to get him on board for the challenging tier 3 campaign ahead.

Taylor, 21, offers good balance down the left, is tenacious and good on the ball. Will be keen to make an impression at Parc Meurig.

Paddy Hold (Llandudno Albion to Llandudno)

Made 22 appearances in the Ardal North West League for Llandudno Albion last season, but with that club disbanding he has returned to Llandudno FC where his talents developed in the junior ranks.
