Rain all but ruins day 1 of NCCA Championship match between Wales and Shropshire

Just 20.1 overs of play were possible in the NCCA Championship Western Division Two clash between Wales NC and Shropshire at Brymbo Sports & Social Complex on Sunday.

With North Wales pair Will Ryan of St Asaph and Denbigh’s Harrison Jones in the home XI, the visitors were put into bat and had reached 43-2 off 20.1 overs before play was abandoned for the day.

Play will resume today from 10.30 am.
