Alex Davies hit a career best 126 as Mochdre romped to a maximum points win at home to Halkyn on Saturday.
Davies produced the third first team century of his career as the hosts rattled up 259-4 off 50 overs after being put into bat.
Mochdre’s batting hero hit 10 fours and five sixes in his 126, Brad Kielow adding 49 and James French ended on 49 not out, Ben Roberts 2-30 for Halkyn.
The visitors were then bowled out for 125, Matty Humphreys taking 3-18 off 10, Kielow 3-23 from 10, Owen Davies 2-26 and Kyle Brown 2-38.
Northop leapfrogged St Asaph into top spot after winning a rain-restricted affair at Elwy Park Grove.
Wicket-keeper Richard Walker struck a superb 82 as the visitors, who won the toss and chose to bat, set 194-9 off 46 overs.
The Flintshire side lost their first two wickets with just a single run on the board, but recovered with Walker well backed by Ben Beaver (39) and Henry Dowd (28).
Dan Evans snapped up 4-44 and Mathew Ryan 2-36 for the Saints.
In reply, Asaph faced a revised target of 113 off 20, but ended up 87-9, so Northop took the win by 25 runs.
