North Wales Crusaders Women will look to build on their debut victory when they host Oldham at Chester Rugby Union Club tomorrow (Sunday, 12 noon kick-off).
Crusaders were triumphant in their first-ever competitive rugby league match a fortnight ago when they defeated Heysham Atoms 28-18 at Parc Eirias.
Now comes a second runout against the Lancastrians of Oldham, the game kicking off a double header at Chester, with North Wales Crusaders men taking on Hunslet in a Bet Fred League One clash, start 2.30 pm.
History was made when the Crusaders Women won their first-ever match against Heysham on June 11.
Just two months after their first training session, head coach, Salford Red Devils and Wales player Becki Davies and her team, got off to a flyer.
Bangor University club captain Eloise Kirby scored two tries, while Codie Slack, Llandudno FC player Becky Jarvis-Evans and student star Bea O’Neill also went over, Sioned Phillips landing four conversions.
