Meet the 2022-23 Bob Brodie Trophy winner – Asa Thomas of Trearddur Bay FC

Asa Thomas has scored 657 career goals but until this season he had never won the Bob Brodie Trophy for the top marksman in senior football on Anglesey.
The 32-year-old put that right this term, however, with a competition record 75 goals in all competitions for Trearddur Bay.
Asa finished almost twice as many goals clear of his nearest rival, Gwalchmai 18-year-old Connor Owen, who netted a magnificent 39 times in 34 matches himself.
With Asa winning the North Wales Coast West Division One double with Trearddur, breaking the North Wales coast all-time goals record and landing the Bob Brodie, it was quite a season for the Holyhead man.
