Played at NE Wales Performance Centre when I was 12 but not played for a grassroots club before Flint.

Strengths to your play

My work rate within the team I’d say is one of my biggest strengths, if I lose the ball my first thought is to try get it back.

Weaknesses in your play

I would say definitely my confidence. With not playing for over 5 years it’s taken me a while to feel comfortable on the pitch.

How do you feel Flint Town United Ladies’ first season has gone?

For a new team it was never going to be easy, but the support we’ve had from everyone around the club has been amazing.

Best performance from the team so far

Definitely our 3:2 win over NFA, it shows just how far we’ve come as a team.

And the worst performance

Travelling to Llanystumdwy with the bare minimum made it hard for us to come away with 3 points.

Personal highlight of this season

I would say scoring my two goals against NFA in the 3-2 away win

Which team-mate has impressed you most?

Our Rosie Hughes, she’s got everything you want in a player and more.

What do you think of the overall standard of the North Wales League?

You can definitely see the improvements from teams when playing them home and away, it’s nice to see how competitive the games are.

How proud are you of your sister Rosie’s progress so far?

Very proud but expected, following her everywhere with her previous clubs you can see why she’s one of the best – if not the best -in the league at what she does.

Favourite pre-match music

Wouldn’t say I have a favourite, but we have a team playlist we put on in the changing rooms before the game that we can all add our own songs to.

If you could get a one-on-one coaching session with a famous footballer, who would you choose?

I would choose Ella Toone of Manchester United. With her being my favourite women’s player and also an attacking player, I definitely feel that I could learn so much from her.

How would you like to see Flint progress in the future?

I am definitely looking forward to next season, with our current new signings and the ones coming in we are definitely going to be up there with some of the best teams.
