Which woman in North Wales senior football has the most league goals? It’s a thrilling race!

While the overall Goalden Girl chart is not as close as we’d like it, the opposite is true for the LEAGUE GOALS ONLY contest!

With several games still to be played in the NORTH WALES WOMEN’S LEAGUE the battle for the golden boot there is fascinating!

Stevie Donougher of Bangor 1876 still leads the way, but her team’s fixtures have finished.

In second is Sade Benjamin of NFA on 25, followed by Llangefni Town’s Jen Cox with 22. These are league goals only don’t forget, Sade and Jen have 27 and 24 respectively overall, including cups.

Check out Sade’s assists – nearly twice as many as anyone else….phenomenal!

Whoever finishes top of the NWWFL hotshots will also be leading league goalscorer for the whole of North Wales as the most in the Genero Adran North was Rosie Hughes with 24.

Of course, it must be stressed that NWWFL teams play 22 games, while Adran North sides fulfilled just 12 fixtures, due to the painfully low number of seven teams in the tier 2 league.

Don’t count out Tesni Hughes of Amlwch or Lois Thomas of Pwllheli either – both are finishing the season like trains!

Chw! Chwwwww!
