William Ryan’s true captain’s innings of 84 proved decisive as St Asaph continued their winning start to the 2023 campaign.

In reply, Bangor’s innings encountered similar problems to the home side’s, slumping to 101-6, but they did not have a William Ryan type knock to save them and ended 155 all out.

Choosing to field first, Bucks must have been delighted to bowl out the opposition for 128, Alyn Evans with magical figures of 6-23, Lee Taylor 2-27, while away opener Jack Williamson made 36.
Buckley were almost home on 118-6, but in a late collapse only managed nine more runs – one short of the Dol total.
Ollie Fellows led the runs with 37, but when he was sixth out it signalled the beginning of the end.
Jack Williams nabbed 4-24 and Jack Williamson 3-32 for the jubilant Gwynedd travellers.
