LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH EAST LEAGUE

Llanfair United 2 Cefn Albion 1
Meet Llanfair United – official end-of-season party poopers!
Since ending an 11-match run without a league win on March 25, the Powys outfit have been upsetting some high-flying opponents.
On Tuesday, they beat league leaders Caersws 2-0, and tonight they all but ended Cefn Albion’s title hopes with a 2-1 win over the second-place side at Mount Field.
United have taken 16 points out of a possible last 21 and climbed to fifth in the standings.
Kyle Capner and Karl Seliaerts grabbed the second-half goals on 54 and 75 minutes that saw off Albion, who had taken the lead through Luke Griffin’s 26th minute net-finder.
Corwen 0 Welshpool Town 4
A Ryan Knott double took his season’s goals total to 24 and helped Welshpool secure a big win at Corwen.
Knott broke the deadlock after just three minutes, William Thomas made it 2-0 on 10 and there was 27 on the clock when Richard Litchfield added a third.
Knott’s 53rd minute spot-kick completed the scoring.
Corwen will definitely finish in the bottom two.
