Weaknesses in your play

I’ve recently dislocated my knee in training

How do you feel Flint Town United ladies’ debut season in the North Wales League is going so far?

I’m really proud to be part of the team and seeing how far the team has come is really rewarding considering this is our first season.

What has been the team’s best performance?

3-0 win against Caernarfon. This is our most recent win, you could see the improvements in each player since we had last played Caernarfon, every team member gave their all which was clearly reflected in the results.

And the worst performance?

Trearddur Bay at home. It was a winnable game but we had to play a home game on a different pitch which wasn’t ideal.

Best team faced this season

Bangor 1876 – they have some outstanding players. They were very friendly and welcoming.

Personal highlight of this season so far

Stepping up as captain for Flint.

Which team-mate has impressed you most?

Flint’s Rosie Hughes, she’s the best around

What do you think of the overall standard of your league?

The standards are good, you can definitely see the improvements of each team from the beginning of the season which ultimately will improve the overall standard.

What are your hopes for the remainder of the season?

To hold our current position in the table

How would you like to see Flint progress in the future?

Win the league next season
